Lotto Mugs/Tumblers Swap

Instead of our usual Attendees’ Show/Sale, we are trying something new and fun this year!

All attendees are invited to participate in the Lotto-Mugs Swap! If you choose to participate, all you need to do is bring a (one) Mug or Tumbler that you have made and submit it when you check into the conference at the Registration Check-in table. (The mug/tumbler submitted should have been made by the potter submitting it; it’s a great opportunity to show off your work!) All mugs/tumblers must be submitted by Noon on Friday, March 7.

Both you and your mug/tumbler will be assigned numbers. All mugs/tumblers will be set out for display as they are submitted and viewable by attendees on Thursday evening and Friday.

At 8:30 AM on Saturday morning, March 8, participating attendees will be able to check a posted list to see what number Mug/Tumbler they have randomly “won.” It’s a you can’t lose scenario. All participating potters win a Mug/Tumbler.

Here’s where the Swap comes in… Feel free to use the rest of the day on Saturday to informally swap the mug/tumbler you have one with someone else if you’re both agreeable to the swap/trade.

Please Note! If anyone is caught switching numbers on Mugs/Tumblers on Saturday morning after the list of randomly paired potters and mugs/tumblers is posted, they will be required to leave the conference (without refund) and will not be able to attend future conferences. Switching numbers on the items would not be cool (or fair)! And, doing so will be treated as such. Don't do it. Don't take the fun out it.

The NC Potters Conference / North Carolina Pottery Center assumes no liability for damage to or loss of items placed into Lotto Mugs/Tumblers & Swap. By submitting pieces the Lotto Mugs/Tumblers & Swap, you agree to any and all instructions, rules, and stipulations. We reserve the right to modify the above details as/if needed.
